Central University of Rajasthan or CURAJ is a government funded institution of higher education and research established in the year 2009 by an Act of Parliament. The university is accredited with A grade by NAAC with an overall CGPA of 3.01 on a seven point scale. Central University of Rajasthan ranking stands at 19th, according to India today ranking 2021. It is placed at 34th rank in university category by NIRF ranking 2022. Central University of Rajasthan ranked 27th in the NIRF Ranking 2023 in the Pharmacy category. Currently, CURAJ has 12 schools of study consisting of 30+ academic departments. The top CURAJ courses are B.Tech, MBA, M.Sc, M.Tech. MA, etc. CURAJ admissions take place through various entrance exams like CUET, CAT, JEE, etc. depending on the course. For admission into PhD programmes, the university conducts its own research entrance exam to shortlist candidates. The average fee structure at CURAJ ranges from Rs 12,500 to Rs 100,000 per year. Central University of Rajasthan campus has all essential facilities like library, healthcare, hostels, laboratories and placement cell. Central University of Rajasthan B.Tech admissions are offered on the basis of JEE Main scores. Qualified candidates then participate in the JoSAA counselling. The round 1 seat allotment has been released by JoSAA for various B.Tech specialisations. The round 2 and 3 seat allotment will be released on June 27 and July 4 respectively. The annual fees of B.Tech at Central University of Rajasthan is Rs 1,50,000.
